Saying Goodbye to Kenny Bogaert

This week, we said goodbye to Kenny Bogaert, who served as a project leader in the department from 2023 to 2026.

Kenny is taking on a new role as Head of the Marine Biological Station Carolinensiel at the University of Münster, where he will lead the station’s research and teaching activities while continuing his research on brown algae. A fitting next chapter, with the North Sea right on his doorstep!

We wish Kenny all the best for this exciting new role and look forward to following his work from afar.
