International Pristionchus Meeting

The International Pristionchus Meeting, organized by the Department of Integrative Evolutionary Biology at the Max Planck Insitute for Biology Tübingen, brings together researchers to present new findings and discuss the latest developments in Pristionchus research and nematode research more generally.
 

The 5th International Pristionchus Meeting took place on the Max Planck Campus in Tübingen on the 6th and 7th July 2026. Over 80 researchers from over 35 countries took part in the two-day event held in the Max Planck House. The keynote lecture on „Lessons from a galaxy of worms“ was given by Paul W. Sternberg from Caltech, USA. During the evening lecture Yen-Ping Hsueh from the Max Planck Insitute for Biology Tübingen shared her research on „Carnivorous Fungi: Mechanisms and Evolution of Nematode Predation“.
