Research Coordination

Support and management of scientific and organisational activities, and construction coordination.

The Research Coordinator supports the Board of Directors and the Managing Director in areas of scientific management as wel as in execution of day-to-day operations  and the strategic development of the institute.

The main areas of responsibility are:

  • Committee Work: Preparation and follow-up of board meetings and other regular institute meetings
  • Cooperations: Support with cooperation agreements with universities and national and international research institutions
  • Reporting: Scientific reports to funding bodies and committees
  • Construction coordination: Comprenehnsive interface management for institute construction and modernization projects
  • Liaison with the MPG: Cooperation with the General Administration of the Max Planck Society
